Swedish Massage is a system of long strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, percussion, vibration and shaking motions that apply pressure between muscles and bones, rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. Swedish Massage feels good, is relaxing and invigorating.
The main purpose of Swedish Massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. Some other benefits include shortening recovery time from muscular strain, increased circulation without increased heart load, stretching of ligaments and tendons, skin stimulation and soothing of the nervous system. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested as part of a regular program for stress management.
Deep Tissue / Treament Massage
Deep tissue massage is designed to relieve pain and muscle tension throughout the body. This type of massage is extremely beneficial because it reaches the deepest layer of muscles, fascia (connective tissue surrounding the joints) and tendons. The goal in deep tissue massage is to breakdown adhesions (tense areas within the muscle). Adhesions in the muscle are very important to address because they cause pain, inflammation and limit motion of the muscles and joints.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is a form of body work that involves the application of heated stones (thermotherapy) to the body within the context of a therapeutic massage. Round, smooth stones are heated to luxurious warmth, oiled and used in the palm of the hands to massage the body.
All the benefits of Swedish massage, along with heat that penetrates deeply, prompting profound relaxation, increased detoxification, and relief of long-standing muscular tension, stress and fatigue.

Reflexology is the process of applying, pressing, or massaging different Longitudinal Zones on each side of the body in order to stimulate the flow of blood and nutrients to other areas. Manipulating specific zones of the body can affect the function of parts on the other end. With the body divided into 10 equal vertical zones (five on either side), Reflexology can assess and treat the whole body using this series of defined and applied points of pressure but just working the hands and/or feet.
Reflexology is often recommended for guests who are shy or uncertain about massage or other therapy because there is no need to remove clothing aside from shoes and socks. It is also highly beneficial for those who are stressed or work long hours because it allows for you to lay back and relax while the stress and pains are kneaded away from your hands and feet.
